Ramush Haradinaj has accused Hashim Thaci that corruption in Kosovo "starts with him". Haradinaj heads an opposition party, while Thaci is at the helm of the Kosovo Albanian government in Pristina. Haradinaj points finger at Thaci "In my opinion, the corruption starts with Thaci and he is its main cause. His logic of governing creates consequences at other levels," Haradinaj has said, and local media. Haradinaj's comments came in the wake of recent statements heard from ICO chief and EU representative in Kosovo Pieter Feith, who spoke about "corruption in the Kosovo institutions". Feith requested from Thaci to dispose of all corrupt officials who are at high positions in the Kosovo government, if he wants Kosovo to move ahead towards Euro integration, reports said. At the same time, influential western countries asked of Thaci to start a probe against a minister suspected of illegally gaining EUR 10mn, Albanian language daily Koha Dire wrote on Wednesday.
