Police have arrested Shpresim Uka, known in the scandal surrounding alleged political murders in Kosovo reveal by Nazim Blaca. According to local media in Kosovo, Uka will have to report to the police station every Monday morning. One more arrest in “Blaca scandal” Uka is suspected of murder, attempted murder, and participation in organized crime. He is the third person who has been given special behavioural measures such as these since the Nazim Blaca scandal began. Blaca is a former member of the illegal Kosovo Information Service (SHIK) who admitted to taking part in the murders of Kosovo politicians as a member of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA). Uka has been mentioned as a person who was high up in the hierarchy of the operation, right under Azem Sulja, who Blaca said was the person who decided on what politicians needed to be killed. Blaca said that he was given orders to kill people by Uka and that he was involved in the murders and attempted murders of several political opponents of the KLA leaders.
