U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Stuart Jones and American ambassador to Kosovo Christopher Dell visited Gracanica. The U.S. delegation visited the village itself and the monasteries located in the Kosovo town. U.S. delegation visits Gracanica Dell told journalists that he visited the monastery with Jones because “it is a living testament to the presence of Serbs in Kosovo.” “Of course, we are deeply dedicated to the protection of such monasteries of culture and religion, and my colleague Mr. Jones came from Washington to visit these places,” Dell said.
