The Public Prosecutor has indicted six fans of Partizan football club for threatening a B92 reporter. B92 TV's Brankica Stankovic received threats for her investigative reporting exploring ties between hooliganism and crime. Hooligans indicted over threats Now the First Municipal Public Prosecution in Belgrade issued an indictment against Goran Kljestan, Aleksandar Perisic, Milan Gudovic, Dragan Djurdjevic, Nemanja Odalovic and Nemanja Bogdanovic for endangering safety and violent behavior at the international Partizan-Shakhtyor football match played in Belgrade. According to the prosecution, this charge is of great importance because it is the first instance of implementation of Article 138, Section 3 of the Criminal Code, that defines the criminal act of endangering safety committed against persons performing work of public importance in the field of media. The leaders of the Alcatraz fan group have called upon the murder of Stankovic, when they, with a group of their fans who were at the stands, chanted “You are dangerous as a snake, you’ll end up like Curuvija“, in reference to a Belgrade journalist and publisher shot and killed in the spring of 1999. This accompanied by kicking, hitting and stabbing of a plastic doll that was to represent the B92 reporter.
