The statement adds that “the strategy of the chief of International Civilian Office (ICO) Pieter Feith and the so-called Kosovo government, which implies violent integration of the northern part of Kosovo and Metohija into the illegal institutions of Kosovo, as well as the announced holding of local elections according to the non-recognized Ahtisaari's plan, represents a dangerous provocation”. "The threatening tones of Pristina directed at the legitimate Serbian institutions in northern Kosovo and Metohija do not contribute to the maintaining of stability, but rather build up tension and aim to intimidate the Serb people," the statement adds. “Referring to the Serbian institutions as being parallel, EULEX representatives do not respect the proclaimed neutrality of their own mandate and they violate Resolution 1244 of the UN SC,” the statement reads. The Serbian president, government and parliament are requested to fight more vigorously and with more determination for the preservation of Kosovo and Metohija, whereas KFOR, as the only relevant organization in charge of preserving peace and security, is expected to fulfill its mandate and not to allow any violent actions.
