Serbian War Crimes Prosecutor Vladimir Vukcevic says that he does not support the transfer of the Hague Tribunal’s archives to Sarajevo. He also spoke against such a transfer to any other place in former Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (SFRJ). War crimes prosecutor on Hague archives “The UN tribunal is situated in The Hague and its archives belong there, or in a place determined by the UN. This is the best, neutral and most acceptable solution for all countries,” Vukcevic commented for Banja Luka daily Glas Srpske. He pointed out that prosecution of war crimes is much more than a local issue, stating that the regional character of these cases and problems in cooperation will be topics of a conference scheduled for February 23-24 in The Hague.
