Priština: Malawi recognizes Kosovo

Kosovo Albanian authorities in Pristina announced on Wednesday that Malawi had recognized Kosovo as independent. Skender Hiseni, appointed by the government in Pristina as its foreign minister, made the announcement, and said that he was notified about this decision made by the African country. Kosovo has not been able to join the UN, while Belgrade rejected the unilateral proclamation, and considers it an illegal act of secession.
