New Serbia (NS) leader Velimir Ilic said that Serbia currently has a government with no perspective. “The government promised EUR 1,000 to each citizens that is of legal age, and in the end gave RSD 1,000, they promised 200,000 new jobs in a year and made 100,000 people redundant, they are promising equal regional development while Serbia is sinking,” Ilic said. NS leader: Govt. has no perspective He criticized the budget draft as well, the way in which it is being passed, and the distribution of funds. “They are adopting the budget at some night sessions, and we know that only ‘antichrists’ work at night, those that are afraid of the nation and public and who are ashamed of what they have written. All the money is with Dinkic again and now everyone must ask him for money. I do not know what Dinkic enchanted them with, when he cannot even finish above the census in elections, but runs the state in all the governments,” Ilic said. He said that over the last four years, NS has done a good job in every city and municipality in which it was part of the ruling coalition. He said that many believe that the Capital Investments Ministry worked the best it every worked while he was the minister. “Look at the State Audit Institution’s report, there were no bad receipts from the Capital Investments Ministry. They talked about some wagons that were purchased with the go-ahead from the Finance Ministry, and that entire job cost two times less than (Delta owner Miroslav) Miskovic's provisions on the vaccines. No one is talking about that,” he said. Ilic added that NS has excellent cooperation with its coalition partner the Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS), adding that the cooperation will continue and the coalition will grow bigger.
