Minister for Kosovo Goran Bogdanovic said that Belgrade must do more to make sure that divisions between Kosovo Serbs does not occur. We must talk with everybody, especially the Serbs. My obligations and the obligation of every member of the Serbian government is to talk in a constructive way with all relevant political factors in Kosovo and to not do anything that will cause damage to the Serbian community, he said. “Divisions among K. Serbs must be avoided” Asked whether the new Serbian institutions will be considered a relevant factor, Bogdanovic said that these are not Serbian institutions, but Albanian, because they participated in the elections according to the laws and constitution of the so-called state of Kosovo. "Maybe those people thought there were doing a good thing, but the fact is that they were not. But, because of differing opinions and actions, there should be no demonization or disrespect shown. For us, only the officials elected in Serbian elections are legitimate. Five percent of the voters cannot be relevant representatives of the Serb community, if those who received 40-50 percent in May are not," he said. Bogdanovic said that they have received legitimacy by participating in the elections, but they do not have the credibility to represent the Serbs in Kosovo. He said that the state’s obligation is to take care of its citizens who still live in Kosovo, adding that some of them are those that participated in the November elections organized by the Kosovo institutions.
