United Serbia (JS) President Dragan Markovic said that his party would vote for the Vojvodina statute and all accompanying bills. He said that they define "an economic, and not a territorial decentralization." "Economic not territorial decentralization" "I am in favor of an economic, and not a territorial decentralization, which is why the JS MPs will vote for the Vojvodina statute and the bill," Markovic told daily Dnevnik. He remarked that economic decentralization should be implemented in other parts of Serbia as well. "Centralizing all funds in Belgrade while provincial municipalities are mentioned only in election campaigns cannot continue," Markovic stated.
