Kosovo: "Alternative" voting stations

The Kosovo election commission will set up "alternative polling stations for areas where Serbs make up a majority of the population". The decision came after local elementary schools in these towns decided not to allow polling stations to be set up at their premises, according to Albanian language media in Pristina. She added that Kosovo Serbs should participate in the elections, because it is a "historical chance" to take responsibility for the municipalities in which they make up the majority. One of the Serb leaders, Momcilo Trajkovic, said that Serbs in Kosovo should participate in the elections. Trajkovic is running for the position of Gracanica municipal president.
