The Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) stated that the changes made to the Vojvodina statute adopted by the provincial assembly were purely cosmetic. Party legal expert Marko Djuric said that the changes cannot hide “the anti-constitutional character of the act.” SNS: Statute changes cosmetic Fellow SNS legal advisor Nikola Selakovic said that the proposed statute goes against the state and can have many negative effects and consequences for the unity of Serbia. “It is an act that goes against the constitution and infringes on the unity of legislative rule,” he said, warning that such an act is one step further towards an administrative decentralization of the country.
