  1. Clue? Very easy...answer is here.
Is American Government gonna donate USD 1 millon* for the RITE answer and save the money and time on the search for THE clue(z)?
*of course all the money goes to charity - Children IN NEED (personally do not need US Army-Government moniez).

U.S.-born Muslim Major Nidal Malik Hasan, 39-year-old psychiatrist got step by step radicalized by his job: listening, day by day, in his shrink sessions with ex-Iraq and Afghanistan soldiers stories of war, possible atrocities of US soldiers and possible expressions of hate toward Muslims from the side of this psychotic US war veterans.
As a consequence, concisely of unconsciously, he has been, day by day then, radicalized and that particular shooting day, for the reason which can be easily established after contacting his subordinats, switch was triggered in his brain, and he started shouting, in his revenge action, again concisely or unconsciously.
He was just the typical case of split personality.

Lesson to be learned for US Military(if relevant for us, as anti-American military orientated):
It would not be advisable for the safety of US Military stuff, that US persons of Muslim origin gets position in this = psychiatric department or offices, departements with posible related risks.
Action by this Muslim Major was to be easily expected and predicted.
