  1. That article really says it all. They were going to sack the victim and the witnesses but not the perpetrator. It says a lot for Croatian justice, doesn’t it?

The only reason for this so called support would be that their image abroad was at an all time low and the possible danger of not joining the EU. I don’t like to paint all Croats the same, but to date everything I have heard or seen points to a nation of bigots with a huge chip on their shoulders, not all but a vast majority and they are in power today.

The hatred of Serbs just simmers underneath all the time, just listen to their overseas radio programs.

  2. Zoran And George...In your zeal to paint all croats as U you have missed the point in the article that states public support for the reporter in question has affected the stations initial decision to sack the reporters who stood up for her. How you can paint an entire people because of the actions of one is beyond me. Instead of reacting with the hate you both seem to have, I suggest reacting with the mind.

  3. Vanja Sutlic and majority of Croats have yet to realize that their hate for everything that is not "special" like them, is their worst enemy. It's divisive and it's ultra toxic. It also doesn't help their image much by "speaking themselves" when they acuse and attack the Serbs. It's a mirror of their soul's dark past and "happiness" being reflected to the world.Very evident in their pro-Ustasha and Nazi- sympathizing youth. Hate, judging, and specialness can only blind, imprison the mind, and prevent Love from ever coming in. Remember,it is not the Serbs that you really hate, but it's yourselves that you hate.

  4. witnessed Sutlić verbally abuse now former HRT correspondent from Belgrade Ivana Dragičević Veličković, calling her a “Chetnik whore”

So in Croatia, any Croatian woman married to a Serbian man is known as a "Chetnik whore"? How nice!

Where does the line get drawn? The passing of Patriarch Pavle, for whom all the respect paid to his memory was and is well deserved, allowed for some rather questionable decisions on the side of the government ...
