An 85-year-old man died this morning in a fire in his house in Zaječar, eastern Serbia.
When firefighters arrived at the scene, the room where the victim – identified with his initials L.N. – was sleeping was already filled with smoke.
An ambulance crew that arrived only minutes after receiving the call could only pronounce him dead.
B92 has unofficially learned that the victim had difficulty moving and that he was using a wood stove to heat the house, which could have cause the fire. |
