  1. STOP taking their money then, 500 mil EUR a year.
    (aRTa,4 November 2009 15:41)

What money is that? Is this the same cheque that was drawn to fix Croatia then went to Bosnia, then to Kosovo, then to Afghanistan then to Iraq and now back to Serbia!

Total all the amounts supposedly given to Serbia to date then include the funds to maintain the rest of the Balkan plus involvement in Afghanistan and you’ll find that even the EU would be broke by now.

If they had provided these vast sums to Serbia it would be the most modern country in Europe and possibly in the world with infrastructure that no one could match. In fact the streets would be paved with gold bars.

The 500 million is to keep afloat all the new Balkan countries i.e. Croatia, Bosnia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Slovenia and lets not forget that economic powerhouse , Kosovo which takes a very large chunk of that money. However, that figure does not include Serbia my little friend.

(dean van der serbia, 5 November 2009 01:02)

why dean, you're very welcome. perhaps you have a chance, after all, of finally seeing the light, which is not EZ thu the haze of all that agit-prop. the many, ever heavier layers of fog.

but anyway, whether intention is ironic or str8t, i always accept compliments.

there is something that goes on with much of the reactions toward my postings, from the other side. they would have you believe that they "never read robert-o again!!!!!??!" we JUST nick him!!!!! but i don't believe it. i think they do read me, and what i say upsets them because they know there is truth to it, and it really unsettles their apple cart. they call me every name in the book, engage in the longest (and dreariest), silliest personal attacks (always published by my dear frnds here) but the reality is that something that i write, in fact much that i contribute hits a resonant chord. and the fact that i don't go down to such lower-than-low levels as some of them. it is just objectively interesting to me.

everyone and i mean everyone with the sense that god has given them knows the truth about mladic. they can rationalize it, try to distort it, try to ignore it, pretend it isn't "proven"... but everyone knows that the very worst things we say about him don't even begin to approach the truth.

there is truth between the lines of many people here, but you have to learn to read and interpret comments on this site very, very carefully...

    thank you.

And the cavalery arrived on white horses....

And just imagine that the truth is in the opposite direction of your thinking, what would you then say? would you accept it?

Mladic is a criminal, no doubts about it and nobody is trying to deny it, but is he the only one? Did you by chance watch the BBC TV report 2 days ago about the involvment, or better say the non-involment and the sort of yellow light given not to counter this terrible tragedy, accusations made by the previous dutch and Bosnian FM, interesting isn't it.

On one hand you are right in the proven facts (easy to be...) but unfortunately completely blind in your assesment.
By the way did you finish your book of peace, is it still talking about the train of peace, or you threw all in the garbage bin!!

    (aRTa, 4 November 2009 15:41)

It's not about whether they want to take, it's about why EU wants so badly to give...
    (The Swiss, 4 November 2009 22:49)
  8. Serge -- i'm trying to say this nicely. you have a responsibility to tell the truth, to do your job. to work to bring justice for the victims. so please do that, do your job properly. tell the truth, do not pretend about "full cooperation" which is an insult to us all. they can and will come thru, but not until the world has the political will. until we all have the political and moral will. and then, poof, it will happen. mladic will suddenly be found and arrested.

    please do the right thing.

    thank you.

  9. "STOP taking their money then, 500 mil EUR a year."
    aRTa

They are simply paying for what they destroyed during the bombings. If they continue to pay this much every year their debt to the Serbian people will be complete in 200 years.

I read that k-albs receive 75 billion dollars every year. Still only Somalia is poorer than Kosovo.
Now I know why everyone is refering to Kosovo as a black hole.
    (MikeC, 4 November 2009 17:45)
  10. STOP taking their money then, 500 mil EUR a year.
    (aRTa, 4 November 2009 15:41)
    --
Serbia is giving the EU €500 million each year by unilaterally implementing the SAA. This is Tadic's doing.
    (Zoran, 4 November 2009 16:12)
  11. Zagreb, Sarajevo, Podgorica, and Pristina are cities worth visiting if you want to push local politicians to actually do something to find war criminals that should be in The Hague. Well said Dragan (#3).

  13. Serge, enjoy your frequent trips, free lunches and dinners, airmiles, and shopping sprees, enjoy all your perks paid for by the NATO taxpayers....enjoy them for another 14 months. Because that is all you have left before Russia shuts down this anti-Serb political kangaroo court. Oh and Mladic is probably safe and sound in Russia.
    (Dragan, 4 November 2009 15:01)
  14. Serge, you are having an official chat with Serb prosecutor, and at same time next door Mladic is listening to your conversation. No need to look any further for Mladic.
    (Kosova-USA, 4 November 2009 13:09)
  15. Again?...
    Haha...wel this charade goes on!

Send him home short track. What do we expect...that Belg(Belgium) will sign up for "full cooperation" and in that way bring in uncomfortable situation friendly Dutch?
Well I guess long recent history gave us the lesson not to be naive with "friendly" EU.

Set of "rules" for Serbia to fulfill is very "Serbia special" and not the same one Croats were subjected to.

Wouldn't it be very good reason to dispatch this gent "short notice" home?

    Who needs EU anyway!
