Serbian Defense Minister Dragan Sutanovac said that cooperation between the Serbian military and KFOR is satisfactory, but can be improved. After meeting with his Turkish counterpart Mehmet Gonul in Belgrade, Sutanovac told journalists that there was also discuss of the Kosovo situation during the meeting. MoD content with KFOR cooperation “It is known that our stances differ on the final status, but we talked about cooperation between KFOR (NATO peacekeeping mission in Kosovo) and the Serbian military and Defense Ministry, and we concluded that cooperation can be taken to a higher level, but is satisfactory for now,” Sutanovac said. He said that he informed the Turkish Defense Minister of the situation in the region and Serbia’s intentions to improve regional military and defense cooperation.
