Liberalizing the visa regime with the United States for Serbian citizens is just an idea for now, says Interior Minister Ivica Dacic. He told daily Blic that he had met with outgoing U.S. Ambassador Cameron Munter prior to his departure from Serbia to discuss opening talks regarding abolishing visas for Serbian citizens traveling to the U.S. Dacic: U.S. visa liberalization "just idea" “This is not a political question, but a technical one, which the ambassador agreed with. But, just as with the visa-free regime between Serbia and European Union member-states, there is a road map containing standards that must be fulfilled. So it is necessary to see what is needed for visa-free travel to the U.S.,” Dacic said.
