A graphology expert and psychologist has analyzed Ratko Mladić's "personality structure" for a Belgrade daily, based on a sample of his handwriting.

A graphology expert and psychologist has analyzed Ratko Mladic's "personality structure" for a Belgrade daily, based on a sample of his handwriting. "Energy, self-confidence, persistence is evident, but he can also be shameless, direct, temperamental, sometimes thoughtless," Jovan Krstic, employed by the Ministry of Justice as their permanent court forensic expert, described the fugitive former military leader of the Bosnian Serbs for Blic newspaper. Expert analyzes Mladic handwriting "It is a person of strong intellect and character, who has a pronounced need for precision and esthetic feelings," Krstic continued. "He can be strictly conventional, following patterns in his behavior, especially when the outside effect is significant, but he's prone to become untempered in expressing his feelings, or in affect." According to this expert, the handwriting shows Mladic to be a person with "presence of impulsive living, affect, generosity, but also overall lack of moderation. According to the handwriting, this is someone who's courageous, and vain". "He has a healthy and strong constitution, plenty of faith in himself, he's entrepreneurial, he has tendencies to engage in trade. He could be persistent in achieving his plans, while he's ready to offer any sort of assistance to the environment and the people around him, but not so much out of altruism – more out of a need to place himself above them." "He makes his decisions quickly, since he summarizes, but there's occasional pronounced psychological strain that prevents him from making the right decisions," Krtic told the daily.
