Local elections in three municipalities
Voters in the Belgrade municipalities of Zemun and Voždovac and those in Kosjerić in western Serbia are today voting in local elections.

Voters in the Belgrade municipalities of Zemun and Vozdovac and those in Kosjeric in western Serbia are today voting in local elections. Some 310,000 people reside in these three municipalities. Local elections in three municipalities In Zemun, ten electoral lists are competing for seats in local assemblies, with the DS-G17 Plus-SPO, DSS-NS-People's Party, and SPS-PUPS-JS coalitions in both Belgrade municipalities. The Serb Progressives (SNS) and Rasim Ljajic's "List for Tolerance" are running in Belgrade for the first time. Individually, the Liberal-Democrats (LDP) and the Radicals (SRS), are also taking part in these elections. In Kosjeric, nine lists have been approved to run, with only the Socialists (SPS) remaining faithful to their coalition with PUPS-JS. Other major parties are competing individually. The polls opened at 07:00, and will close at 20:00 CET. No incidents have been reported thus far. Electoral silence, prohibiting campaigning and predicting the voting's outcome, is still in force.
