Belgrade Pride 2009 has begun studying the optimal security solutions for the upcoming gay pride parade, the organization has announced. "Owing to inaccurate information that has reached the public concerning the announcement of August 23, 2009, as the date of the protest for the rights of the LBGT community in Serbia, the organizational committee announces that it is absolutely impossible to set a precise date several months in advance, given the current socio-political situation,“ reads a statement.
