The municipal court in Tutin has turned down the municipal prosecutor’s motion to remand Crna Reka rehab center manager Branislav Peranovic in custody. FoNet reports unofficially that the three-member trial chamber did not believe there were grounds to order custody as there was no chance of Peranovic re-offending, given that he had been dismissed as center manager and was no longer living in Crna Reka. No custody for rehab center manager Nor did the trial chamber believe he could tamper with witnesses, as he had already confessed to using beatings as a disciplinary method during the investigation. The municipal prosecution has 48 hours to appeal the ruling to the District Court in Novi Pazar.
