Judges picked for Kosovo Constitutional Court

The Kosovo assembly has selected six judges to serve in the Kosovo Constitutional Court, four of whom are Albanians.

The Kosovo assembly has selected six judges to serve in the Kosovo Constitutional Court, four of whom are Albanians. One judge is a Serb and the other a Turk. Judges picked for Kosovo Constitutional Court The new judges are Enver Hasani, Kadri Krueziu, Iliriana Islami, Xhulieta Mushkolaj, Ivan Djukalovic and Altaj Suroj. The court is to be made up of nine judges in total. The other three will be international judges, who are due to be named by Pieter Feith, the head of the International Civilian Office in Kosovo. The names of the six judges will be submitted to Kosovo President Fatmir Sejdiu for final approval, before they are officially appointed.
