The U.S. embassy in Pristina welcomed "Kosovo government's decision to allow Serbian Pres. Boris Tadic to worship in Visoki Decani monastery on Good Friday". A statement from the embassy this Saturday also said that "the decision was a just act, made by a sovereign state, in line with the Ahtisaari plan, and to the benefit of the good neighborly relations". U.S. "welcomes Kosovo govt. decision" In Belgrade, meantime, the president's cabinet reacted to the embassy's statement by confirming that Tadic did not seek permission from the Kosovo Albanian authorities in Pristina for his visit to the province on Friday. In Belgrade, meantime, the president's cabinet reacted to the embassy's statement by confirming that Tadić did not seek permission from the Kosovo Albanian authorities in Priština for his visit to the province on Friday.
