Sonja Liht, president of the Fund for Political Excellence, has vacated her seat at the Anti-Corruption Committee. Liht said that she had taken that step to devote more time to her work on daily Politika’s Board of Directors, explaining that even though her legal advisers had told her that the two positions were not in a conflict of interest, she had, after considerable contemplation, decided to opt for Politika. Her fellow nine committee members were selected at the same time, but her resignation will not disrupt its work as, under the law, the committee can function with a minimum of seven members.
