Serbia's Public Prosecution office is intensively investigating the disclosure of classified government information in the Kovacevic case. The prosecution spokesman, Tomo Zoric, said on Wednesday in Belgrade that "all necessary investigative actions will be taken" to get to the guilty party. Prosecution: We'll question ministers "That includes questioning all those who came in contact with the confidential information, including Serbian government ministers," he said, according to Beta news agency. Zoric also revealed that "other steps will be undertaken with the goal of efficiently finding the perpetrators of this criminal act", adding that the Serbian police (MUP) have already been given some instructions to this end. Last week, Belgrade daily Borba published information apparently leaked from a government session, that said Serbia was ready to pay USD 1mn in order to settle the case. Miladin Kovacevic is accused of seriously injuring a fellow student in a barroom fight in the United States last year. He is wanted there after he jumped bail and returned to Serbia.
