DSS spokesman Andreja Mladenovic has condemned “Boris Tadic’s statement that he is willing to talk with the separatist authorities in Pristina. In a written statement, the Democratic Party of Serbia spokesman recalls that immediately after the unilateral declaration of Kosovo independence in February 2008, the Serbian Interior Ministry filed criminal charges against Kosovo PM Hashim Thaci and President Fatmir Sejdiu for “jeopardizing the state of Serbia.” DSS: Tadic violating Constitution “Tadic is grossly violating the Constitution by announcing the possibility of talks with those who proclaimed their own state on Serbian territory,” he says. “Tadić is grossly violating the Constitution by announcing the possibility of talks with those who proclaimed their own state on Serbian territory,” he says.

Mladenović states that Tadic's announcement about engaging in talks with the provisional Kosovo government, "demonstrates that his declarative condemnation of Kosovo's independence constitutes a sham."
