European Parliament Rapporteur for Serbia Jelko Kacin said today that Serbia’s biggest problem is that it is standing still, “dithering”. Kacin met in Brussels on Wednesday with a delegation from the Association of Vojvodina Hungarians, headed by party leader Istvan Pastor, and Chairman of the Serbian Parliamentary European Integration Committee Laslo Varga. In talks with Vojvodina Hungarian leaders, he said that the Vojvodina Statute should be ratified by the state parliament in order for the province to become Serbia’s strongest card on its road towards European integration.
