Parliament has begun debating acts on the State Auditing Institution and the Trustee for Public Information. However, instead of the agenda, the opposition took to criticizing the government's handling of issues related to the formation of the Kosovo Security Forces, stating that the government had done nothing to stop the formation of what, to their mind, was tantamount to a Kosovo army. Parliament reconvenes, opposition continues obstruction Owing to frequent obstructions of parliament’s work, Speaker Slavica Djukic Dejanovic said that MPs would have to debate a new Code of Procedure before the start of the regular session, as the current atmosphere was uncertain, and obstruction could surface at any moment, regardless of previously reached agreements. She told journalists in parliament that opposition MPs did not wish to contribute even when their own motions were up for debate, adding that the Serb Radical Party and the Serb Progressive Party clearly had problems that were hampering the country. Today's agenda was due to feature a draft decision to approve a Code of Procedure for the State Auditing Institution and an Act on the Trustee for Public Information.A new session of parliament will also been scheduled immediately to debate a draft decision to confirm the composition of the nine permanent parliamentary delegations in international parliamentary institutions. The agenda also includes a draft decision on the dismissal and appointment of members and deputy members of the Republic Electoral Commission (RIK). Sonja Brkic has been nominated for a second time as president of the Supreme Court, while Slavoljub Milenkovic has been proposed as her deputy.
