Srbijagas Director Dusan Bajatovic said on Monday that there is currently enough natural gas in Serbia. However, he warned that "certain problems" could arise in view of a dispute between Russia and Ukraine. Gas supplies regular, "for now" Bajatovic also said he believes "Serbia should not suffer" due to the crisis, but that if there a shortage of natural gas hits the country, the gas delivered to industrial consumers will be cut. Srbijagas, which is a public company, will in that case take over the role of the natural gas supplier and come up with a plan to limit deliveries. Bajatovic said "there's no reason to fear", since big consumers have temporarily shut down production for the holidays, while the country has amounts of fuel oil stored.
