Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic is participating at the 16th annual OSCE Ministerial Council in Helsinki today. Jeremic will hold bilateral talks during the two-day visit in Helsinki with OSCE Secretary General Marc Perrin de Brichambaut and other foreign ministers from OSCE member-states. Foreign Ministers from 65 member-states will focus over the next two days on the conflicts in Georgia and Russia’s proposal for a new European security pact. Jeremic said that he will remind all the conference guests that Serbia will continue to use all legal and diplomatic avenues available in its struggle for Kosovo. “Serbia will be principled and strong, and will propound our well-known arguments. This is one forum where it must be mentioned, and we must hold it high on the international community’s radar, and not allow the issue to drift into oblivion. We must continue to fight with all political and diplomatic means to preserve our sovereignty and territorial integrity, and we will continue to do so at every conference, every place, always,” Jeremic said.
