The parliament’s administrative council has fined 14 MPs who were warned about violating rules of procedure.

The parliament’s administrative council has fined 14 MPs who were warned about violating rules of procedure. Thirteen officials of the Serb Radical Party (SRS) and one MP of the Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) were penalized. MPs fined for violating procedures Five of the SRS officials will have to pay RSD 16,000 - Milan Veselinovic, Petar Jojic, Nikola Savic and Natasa Jovanovic. Momir Markovic, who was reprimanded at two sessions, was fined an additional RSD 3,000. Aleksandar Martinovic, Milan Avramovic and Ognjen Mihajlovic will pay RSD 8,000, while Dusan Maric, Dobrislav Prelevic, Srboljub Zivanovic, Zoran Krasic and Milorad Krstic were fined RSD 3,000 each. DSS official Dragan Sormaz's fine has been set at RSD 3,000. The SRS officials did not attend the session at which the decision was made, while Liberal Democratic Party (DSS) official Nenad Milic voted against, stating that the rules of procedure should be carried out every day, "not every once in a while". The SRS and DSS lawmakers that were fined said afterwards that this will not stop them from stating their opinions in parliament in the future.
