French Ambassador Jean Francois Terral, EC Delegation to Serbia Chief Josep Lloveras and Czech Ambassador to Belgrade Hana Hubackova have visited Bujanovac. The EU Delegation went to Bujanovac to “familiarize themselves with all the existing problems in the region,” that the EU is ready to help tackle. Ambassadors visit southern Serbia "We have learned that there are four major problems in this region, including the economy, education, the integration of ethnic Albanians into state institutions, and freedom of movement in the south of Serbia–Kosovo–Macedonia triangle,” Terral said. The French ambassador said that after he returned to Belgrade he would discuss those issues with the Chief of Coordinative Body for the South of Serbia Milan Markovic, and that he would try to mobilize all segments, “including the EU,” because of the poor economic situation in the region. "Some progress has been made regarding the recognition of UNMIK-stamped degrees from Pristina, but we will also talk about grants for students studying at Pristina University,” Terral said. The French ambassador added that there should be some work done on including ethnic Albanians in the Coordinative Bodies for Bujanovac, Presevo and Medvedja “to see if some progress could be made there.”
