Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) leader Vojislav Kostunica said Friday that the government will "apparently accept the EULEX mission". This EU mission, the former premier said, has already been illegally deployed in Kosovo on the basis of Annex 10 of Ahtisaari's plan for Kosovo's supervised independence. "Serbian govt. likely will accept EULEX" "The government thus becomes an accomplice in misleading the people into believing that EULEX is not implementing the Constitution of independent state of Kosovo created on the basis of Ahtisaari's plan," he said in a statement for Tanjug. According to Ahtisaari's plan, EULEX will supervise the work of the police, customs and judiciary - institutions in charge of implementing the Constitution and the laws of the self-proclaimed independent state of Kosovo, he said. After it recognizes EULEX and thus indirectly Kosovo's independence, all that will remain for the government to do will be to accept also Ischinger's plan for good-neighborly relations between Serbia and Kosovo, Kostunica said.
