Nuns secure stake in football club According to Tanjug, Zagreb's Vecernji List writes today that the nuns from a Benedictine monastery in Zadar have spent 25,000 local currency, "or some EUR 3,500", to acquire 50 of the club's shares. And while they are aware that their purchase has to do with Hajduk, the daily says, they admit to being ignorant when it comes to football. "It's true, the mother superior told us we have become Hajduk's shareholders, but I know nothing about it. Our lawyer who conducted the transaction knows everything, and he told us that all we have to do now is pray that our Hajduk is winning," sister Anselma of the Sv.
