Lamberto Zannier says his priorities are the situation in northern Kosovo, reopening of courts, Serb policemen's return and customs. During a visit to Prizren, where he arrived late on Thursday, the head of UNMIK said that “Mitrovica was not an easy problem” and that UNMIK was trying to resolve the issue on the ground. "Kosovska Mitrovica no easy problem" “Ever since I assumed office, my number one priority has been that the courts in northern Kosovo begin operating,” said Zannier. “Now, after two months of work, we expect that the courts will reopen, but the complexity of the problem requires a gradual, step-by-step approach,” the Italian diplomat said at a meeting with Prizren Mayor Ramadan Mujo, the media in Pristina reported.
