Police today found weapons on the road traveled daily by the men convicted of the Djindjic murder. MUP officers confiscated five hand grenades and one pistol near the Belgrade-Nis highway, near where those convicted of assassinating Zoran Djindjic pass from the Central Prison to the Palace of Justice, where an appeals process is underway. Weapons seized on way to Palace of Justice An investigation is ongoing to determine whether there is any connection between the Djindjic murder conspirators and the weapons cache. Belgrade's MUP top officials told Beta news agency that the bombs and the pistol were found after a tipoff, near the Avia gas station.
