“Priština degree problem must be solved via talks”

Dusan Spasojevic says the problem with Pristina University degrees needs to be solved through talks. The vice-president of the South Serbia Coordination Center said that he “cannot accept the stance of Bujanovac Municipal President Saip Kamberi, who says that he will not participate in the work of the Center if the problem is not resolved.” “Pristina degree problem must be solved via talks” “Blackmailing over degrees is ridiculous because there are a lot of bigger problems in this region, so his decision to boycott the work of the Coordination Center is very ill-conceived.” Spasojevic said. He said that the integration of Albanians in Serbia was not the only job of the Coordination Center, adding that Serbs in the region had to be integrated as well. “50 percent of the work of the Coordination Center is the integration of Albanians, but the other 50 percent is the integration of Serbs. What would happen if the President of Medvedja Municipality Slobodan Draskovic said that he would not talk until Serbs were brought back into the executive authorities in the municipalities of Bujanovac and Presevo, on the basis of the agreement signed with the OSCE in 2000,” Spasojevic said. He said that the “problem with the degrees needs to be discussed in a peaceful manner and in the interests of all the citizens.” Spasojevic said that one of the most important projects in the south of Serbia was the completion of the Cepotina military base.
