2 skydivers stunned early risers in Belgrade this morning by parachuting from the capital's tallest building. The two jumped from the Beogradjanka building in central Belgrade at 06.30 CET. Parachutists jump from Beogradjanka BASE jumping involves the use of a parachute and a wingsuit that can adapt the human body to the aerodynamics of free fall. It took Robert Pecnik and Uros Ure less than 20 minutes to decide on this daring move. That location is considered to be the most dangerous in the city because of high building density. The only spot that could be used for the fall was Masarikova Street. Even though they have been jumping for years, and have jumped from buildings of different shapes and sizes, they say that there is always a slight dose of fear. After Belgrade, they will move to Montenegro where they will perform a further three jumps. Their tour started today and will finish on September 15. The two men plan to BASE jump from the Avala TV Tower next May.
