The Kosovo government has warned Lamberto Zannier that he could become a persona non grata, writes daily Kosova Sot. The Pristina daily states that the UNMIK chief has been warned not to continue “making statements that do not reflect the reality in Kosovo”. "Kosovo govt. in warning to Zannier" UNMIK representatives say Zannier’s remarks have been misinterpreted. “When he spoke of Serbs in the Kosovo Police Service (KPS), he wanted to express his wish to bring Serbs back to the KPS fold,” said UNMIK spokesman Russell Geekie.
