RS PM Milorad Dodik says the arrest of Radovan Karadzic is a problem less for the RS in international political relations. “That means that the Republic of Srpska (RS), without any burden from the past, can continue development and stability unhindered,” Dodik told daily Blic. "Karadzic arrest problem less for RS" He said that he expected Karadzic’s trial before the Hague Tribunal to be fair and that unlike certain previous trials, realistic and objective facts would be taken into account. Karadzic is “a defendant, he has still not been condemned, therefore that fact should be borne in mind. What’s not in question is his flight from justice, and that obviously cannot be excused, but he must be treated purely as a defendant, because he has not been found guilty,” stressed the RS prime minister. He said that he expected Karadžić’s trial before the Hague Tribunal to be fair and that unlike certain previous trials, realistic and objective facts would be taken into account.

What’s not in question is his flight from justice, and that obviously cannot be excused, but he must be treated purely as a defendant, because he has not been found guilty,” stressed the RS prime minister.
