EUR 351,000 altogether was found during a random search of passenger V.V., a Serbian national traveling to Brazil via Frankfurt, who had hidden the money in his trouser pockets and in a small bag. Customs officers seize EUR 341,000 at airport Since, under Serbian customs regulations, a maximum of EUR 10,000 can be taken out of the country, that amount was returned to V.V., while the remaining 341,000 euros were temporarily confiscated. It is stated that during selective controls on passengers leaving the country, V.V. was behaving nervously, trying to take the advantage of a large crowd at customs to slip by unnoticed. Apart from the aforesaid psychological factors, the destination itself was one of the risk indicators and one of the reasons officers decided to search him, read a statement from the Customs Administration.
