G17 Plus and the Sandzak Party of Democratic Action (SDA) have signed a cooperation agreement that will be applicable in future parliamentary elections. "The signed agreement is valid at both parliamentary and local levels, but not at executive level,” said G17 Plus leader Mladjan Dinkic. G17 Plus, SDA sign agreement He said that the parties had signed the agreement based on their similar views on European integration, economic stability, regeneration of underdeveloped parts of the country, and full equality for all peoples and nationalities living in Serbia. However, Rasim Ljajic’s Sandzak Democratic Party (SDP) does not approve of the agreement signed by Dinkic and Sulejman Ugljanin’s Sandzak Party of Democratic Action (SDA). Sandzak Democratic Party (SDP) Vice-President Meho Omerovic told B92 that he had not seen the contents of the agreement, but that he feared that the agreement would stir up differences and divisions among Bosniaks and their political parties. "It is odd that such an agreement is being signed at this precise moment in time. I wonder whether the agreement was signed because of the two SDA MPs, or if there was something else at stake. The SDP will not allow its interests to be compromised, and there may be some trouble on the ground, especially in Sandzak because, the SDP has been a long time coalition partner of the Democratic Party (DS), with a greater influence in Serbia, and with twice as many MPs,” Omerovic warned.
