A man wanted on murder charges in Serbia has been arrested in Rafailovići, near Budva in Montenegro.

A man wanted on murder charges in Serbia has been arrested in Rafailovici, near Budva in Montenegro. The Serbian police, MUP, has been searching for the man, identified as Rade Markovic from Uzice, in connection with at least one murder, and a recent attempted murder, when he allegedly used an alias. Murder suspect arrested near Budva The Budva police’s operation was carried out on Tuesday after inspectors found out that Markovic (28) was hiding out in a private seaside hotel, the police announced. The suspect was held in custody in Budva on suspicion of falsifying documents, before being turned over to the investigative judge in Kotor. After questioning, Markovic was remanded in custody for a further 30 days, and sent to a detention center in Spuz, near Podgorica.

The Budva police’s operation was carried out on Tuesday after inspectors found out that Marković (28) was hiding out in a private seaside hotel, the police announced.

The suspect was held in custody in Budva on suspicion of falsifying documents, before being turned over to the investigative judge in Kotor.

After questioning, Marković was remanded in custody for a further 30 days, and sent to a detention center in Spuž, near Podgorica.
