EULEX rules out power sharing

Head of the EU Mission to Kosovo, EULEX, Yves de Kermabon has ruled out the idea of a power-sharing agreement in the province, Pristina daily Zeri reported on Saturday. Under the agreement, UNMIK would be in charge in mostly Serb-populated parts of the province, while EULEX would run the rest of the province. EULEX rules out power sharing Quoting Western diplomatic sources, Zeri said that French General de Kermabon had informed the highest political authorities in Brussels that he opposed such an arrangement, since this would be very problematic and would not work for him or EULEX’s staff.
