The number of Serbian voters registered abroad has reached 52,000 for the forthcoming parliamentary elections due on May 11. The figure represents a 40 percent increase compared to the January/February presidential election, the Diaspora Ministry said Thursday. Number of expat voters grows by 40 pct The number of polling stations worldwide will therefore be increased from 65 to 78. New polling stations will be opened in Vancouver, Montreal, Los Angeles, Boston, San Francisco, Luxemburg, Vicenza, Luzern, Qatar, as well as in the embassies in Cairo, Sarajevo, Kuwait and Damascus, and in the consulate-general in Istanbul.
