Rasim Ljajic said yesterday that Hague Chief Prosecutor Serge Brammertz would arrive in Belgrade on April 17. The chairman of the National Council on Cooperation with the Hague Tribunal was speaking at a news conference in the southwestern town of Novi Pazar when he made the announcement, Beta news agency reported. Chief Hague prosecutor in Serbia this week Ljajic stressed that this would be Brammertz's first visit since taking over his duties at the UN war crimes court. "We will notify him of ongoing operations, primarily the effort to locate war crimes fugitive Stojan Zupljanin, and this could have a deciding effect on the opinion of the Netherlands, the only country that opposes signing the Stabilization and Association Agreement," he said. Ljajić stressed that this would be Brammertz's first visit since taking over his duties at the UN war crimes court.
