The Belgrade dailies still lead with Monday's sale of the Genex property in Belgrade. ALO—"Miskovic's empire", the tabloid is looking into the assets of Delta Holding owner Miroslav Miskovic in the wake of his latest acquisition Monday, that of the Genex Belgrade property. Press: Miskovic's millions, campaign conundrums "Three fires in one day", says that a library and a hospital in different towns in Serbia were damaged in fires yesterday. BLIC—Agroziv's owner, arrested Monday, "Invested stolen money in villas and shops", the front page says about the details from the investigation into the EUR 18mn fraud. "Everything Miskovic bought", another look at the Serbian business tycoon and his property. "Artists won't engage in politics", explores how many celebrities are taking part in the country's political scene. BORBA—"Kosmet – neither this nor that", reports about the latest Kosovo statements coming from UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon. As for the Beotruck 08 – a commercial vehicles fair that opened in Belgrade yesterday, "Traffic – axis of development". VECERNJE NOVOSTI—"Deposits block loans", says that the central bank is trying to further discourage Serbians from taking out bank loans by raising deposits from 20 to 30 percent. "Mistakes under safety helmets", criticizes the work of construction inspectors. "Big wheels fair opens", more on Beotruck 08. GAZETA—"Nikolic gives Voja premiership", the paper alleges that a deal has been made between the Radicals, SRS, and the Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS). GLAS JAVNOSTI—The front page brings the story of a Christian relic currently on display at the St. Sava church in Belgrade: "Piece of Golgotha cross in Belgrade". "Record inflation threatens", says the daily, and explains expensive state apparatus and market monopolies are to blame. "I will prevent recognition of Kosovo", says the Serb candidate in the Montenegrin presidential ballot, Andrija Mandic. DANAS—"Most expensive gasoline in Europe", can be bought in Serbia – according to the newspaper's report, which adds that the state budget earns 62 eurocents for each liter of gasoline sold in Serbia's gas stations. DS official and Deputy Prime Minister Bozidar Djelic says in an interview, "Greece would sign SAA with Belgrade today". Jelica Minic of the European Movement in Serbia is also quoted on the front page, "Neither visas nor SAA before elections". KURIR—Meanwhile, the tabloid continues its pitched battle against G17 Plus officials, past and present: "Send them to jail", says a headline, while the story concerns the privatization of Sartid, and involvement of Miroljub Labus, Mladjan Dinkic, but also Bozidar Djelic. POLITIKA—"Russians request ratification of pipeline agreement", the paper leads. The only front page that looks at the NATO summit in Bucharest says, "Bush: Ukraine must join NATO". "Agroziv, neither dead nor alive", the Serbian headline is a pun, while the article brings the details from fraud case involving the poultry farm and associated companies. PRESS—Former Red Star executive Dragan Dzajic, already jailed for abuse of office and embezzlement, seems to be facing fresh trouble: "Dzaja accused over Vidic!" Apparently, EUR 2mn are also missing from the transfer of Nemanja Vidic to Manchester United. "Ceda rips off Obama", says another deadline, questioning the authenticity of one of the LDP election ads.
