Bishop Artemije says the fate of Kosovo will depend on the outcome of the May 11 early parliamentary elections. "We are wondering and we should give an answer to what we want after May 11. The strategy and fate of us who live in Kosovo-Metohija and our brothers who were expelled from this territory and future generations will depend on our answer. Therefore, our future and our eternity will depend on this choice we make," the Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC) dignitary said. SPC bishop weighs in on elections Speaking at a panel discussion in Kosovska Mitrovica, he said that Serbia can and should cooperate with everybody, including Europe, but only as an integral state - with Kosovo in its fold. "Serbia is not against Europe, but Europe is against Serbia. Serbia can and should cooperate with everybody, including Europe, but on one condition - that Serbia does this as an integral country with all its heart and soul - Kosovo-Metohija," Bishop Artemije said. He added that without Kosovo, "Serbia is an empty shell that nobody, including Europe, needs". The bishop called citizens to take part in the May 11 early ballot.
