Three witnesses from Serbia have testified via video link at the Medak Pocket war crimes trial. The witnesses—protected witness no.33, Milka Radakovic and Bozidar Matic— were due to testify last October, but were unavailable to the Croatian courts at the time. Witnesses testify via video link in Medak trial The witness testimonies and prosecution and defense questioning will be made available to the public after they have been included in the transcript. When this will actually happen remains unclear, as the testimonies were given outwith the hearing, in the absence of the media or press, as a form of inter-state cooperation. The protected witnesses from Serbia testified via video link from the Belgrade District Court. Protected witness no.6, who lives in Canada, was also due to testify via video link today. Croatian Generals Rahim Ademi and Mirko Norac are accused of command responsibility for the murders of dozens of Serb prisoners and civilians, looting, and destruction of property and homes during the Medak Pocket operation that was carried out near Gospic between September 9 and 17, 1993.
